In my experience it's more fun to play good then evil. Being in the middle is enjoyable too of course, but the game is good enough to play three times over so that's usually what I do. The game gives you a lot of options as well, so you can try out different combat styles and tackle situations differently, etc etc. I hope you get the chance to play it yourself!
