The OP mentioned nothing at all about white supremacy. You brought that up, not them.

And fandom having a strong pattern of preference for white characters over time is hardly some kinda absurd hyperbole, whether you agree with the idea or not. And similarly, it's hardly absurd to suggest that fandom might perceive an anime character as white.
