You're just pissed because you refuse to accept the truth: your country's government has been infiltrated by real-life black widows trained to dance to the Spice Girls' music instead of ballet. They will take over your country, then your neighbors, and if we don't stop them they'll turn the whole planet into Spice World and start a war with the Selenites!

It's Americans for you every single time because you're not American. When you are, you're constantly told by other people that they know our own current events and history better than we do, because our schools and media are biased, unlike theirs which is completely objective. And then they tell us what our daily lives are like and get that wrong too. It's really interesting being asked why Americans are always doing something I've never done or seen done in my life.

My dude, considering how fucking popular posts about "Today I learned this extremely well known piece of my own country's history!" get among people who at least *claim* to be American, I'd put a lid on that indignation. Your countrymen spend a whole lot of time talking about how shit your public education system is. Go off at them about it, IDGAF.

And... I speak to people who aren't Americans *or* my countrymen on the internet, funnily enough. Canadians, Brits, New Zealanders, Italians, French, there's even a stray Finn. And none of them give me the same trouble. No Argentinians or Austrians turn up on the Facebook page for the ABC complaining they're not covering """local""" issues. Just your mod.
But I guess I'm just imagining it, since you've never seen it in your life and you are the overseer for all 327 million Americans. All of them. Totes.

Seriously. The amount of people who currently go "omg no news here report on it, WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT THIS" about, for example, the Australian bushfires are, at least by their own profiles, mostly Americans. Plenty of people from other countries just go "but it's been on the news for weeks".
