I actually liked the ending. I liked that they acknowledged that she didn't want to marry, that she was lonely but not longing for a *husband*, that she had other dreams and ambitions.

I like that they left the possibility open for her to have a romance if she decided she was ready/did want one, after all.

And, side not - i fucking *loved* seeing the book being made, all the steps, that was *amazing*.
I really liked this whole movie over all, it was so fun and so full of life and didn't fall into the trap of being overly cutesy or precious.
