Agreed. It's a comedy show on Comedy Central. And I can only count one time Jon Stewart and show has been serious and real and that was their first show after 9/11. The rest has been pure comedy.

It doesn't make any sense to me. It's a satire show created to make fun of bias on the part of "legitimate" cable news networks. Over time, people come to realize that the show is not only amusing but can sometimes be informative as well, which is why you hear a lot of folks commenting that they actually get a considerable amount of real news in the process of watching Jon Stewart for the lulz. Hey, that's where I first heard about Sarah Palin and Rape-Kit-gate.

But I don't recall the show shifting its focus to "real news" at any point, nor do I see people believing anything to that effect. If you think JS is unfunny, fine, but give his fans some credit too, sheesh.

I saw the secret and expected everyone to point out the fallacy in the comments - and then was shocked to find a bunch of, "I agree, he sho smug and fake, amagad!" :-|
