I kind of know how you feel. I don't hate the movie but I like the books better.

I get that. The Oz books were the first things I remember reading as a kid. Those were my favorite books. The only adaption I've liked so far has been this one animated version. other than that, nope. Don't like the movie, don't like Wicked, either book or stage. People like to use the setting but then change everything about it.

One of my favorite books ever is Alice in Wonderland. I have NEVER seen a movie or TV version of it that did it justice (and I've seen lots of them)
