I'm confused, what's wrong with that? The phrasing is a bit cringey, but the sentiment? People can learn things about themselves through fandom, just like anything.

That sounds right. I just saw a comment on a popular forum where a person said they figured out they were really a woman and a lesbian from reading yuri. It was the first time they found something that expressed how they feel on the indside.

Yuri isn't necessarily porn seeing as a lot of English speaking fans use the term to also cover shoujo ai.

How are comics about F/F and M/M relationships not LGBT...?
