How does he eat if he can't take his helmet off ever?

Never mind read the secret wrong... Real question! Does he just shove whatever food he finds in his pockets to eat in dark corners because there's people around?

In the series, Din does eat without his helmet, just alone and when nobody is in the same room as him. I think it makes Mandalorians rather lonely.

Not even in in front of Baby Yoda? Huh, I imagine it would be lonely, also very inconvenient... He'd have to be looking over his shoulder just to make sure nobody's going to walk in just to have a drink.

nayrt

"Not even in in front of Baby Yoda?"

Not as of yet, but things may change after the events of the season finale.

It's not played as an inconvenience to him because he's basically a true believer raised in the doctrine. He's identifies so strongly with it he was willing to die rather than remove it in front of people.

There's an episode where he eats. He just does so alone in full view of a window with where his little yoda is playing where any of them can look over but they never do so whatever i guess lol

Do they say what happens if he does get caught without the mask? I imagine it must be either an awkward 'you didn't see anything' moment, or a 'now I'm going to have to kill you' thing.

it looks like its on honor system, but essentially he can't be part of the mandalorians anymore. so like i guess he could lie?

but this seems like its a recent rule that has to do with the empire massacring them and them only being allowed to come out of their hiding spot one at a time, as a way to obfuscate their numbers and identities.

I can't say I get it, but that does make sense.

...full view of a window with where his little yoda is playing where any of them can look over but they never do so whatever i guess lol.

That bugged the shit of of my husband. LOL. But, he's also *above* them, so maybe with the awning and the dimness of the room he's in, they can't actually see him.At least not clearly enough to matter.

I know right!? Every time I watch I'm like, "It's called a window, idiot! People can see you through it!"
