To me, it reads like the standard "Progressivism Gone Too Far!" type sentiment. It mentions the poster's own gender dysphoria that led them to believe what they do. It states how current culture in fandom would not have helped them be less dysphoric and caused them more confusion than not. It also implicitly says up to 40% of young people who experience dysphoria end up identifying as trans and transition in their lives (whether or not that's true, I'm not personally claiming this as a fact. Just pointing out they said it). So it's not saying they're all delusional, or they should kill themselves.
To be clear: I'm not saying it's not transphobic. I see why its tone, manner, and claims are offending people, especially those who feel that more acceptance and encouragement to explore personal gender identities before finding one you're comfortable with is a good thing. But I don't find it comparable to what you quoted, that's all.
