They've released the full list of main cast for the Amazon Tolkien series, though they aren't saying who is playing what (so I don't know which of them is Sauron, and I want to know damn it).

Well, considering what happens in Numenor, a good chunk of the characters are going to become evil and become part of Sauron's evil, human-sacrificing religion. But I do hope the black guy is one of the faithful.

I wouldn't mind if he was one of the guys turning evil but the big bad as one of the only black guys in the cast would be a bit eeehhh.

(I'm also very aware of the lack of any Asian actors in this cast. Making fantasy diverse apparently once again comes down to a handfull of black and brown actors exclusively.)
