There was a very strange anon a few years ago who posted secrets that seemed to come from an alternate universe - the best remembered being one where they wanted their favourite celebrity to visit their town just before "tar season", so they'd be stuck there for a good while.

DA - I think this had to have been like the better part of a decade ago. I know about it from links someone provided a couple of years back, but tar-season anon was before my time and I've been around for...idk, five years at least.

Bless you, tar-season anon, wherever you are. Those posts were a trip.

I wish I could remember what else they said, because it wasn't just tar. There were a couple of other weird "cultural" details too iirc.

I don't even know where to begin... Like maybe they live in a small town where their major roads get paved around the same time every year? I will admit that the potato thing that someone mentioned below does seem familiar though...
