Ha, that episode ("Band Candy") was so much fun. Too bad the Ripper series never got made.

See I think he's hotter (not really my type, but occasionally I'll find him hot) as Giles where the image he's presenting is nerdy librarian but you know that underneath all of that is Ripper, just waiting to get out.

If you loved Ripper (and who DOESN'T??), you may like a series he did BEFORE Buffy called...VR? I think it was VR. It was a Buffy-esque character fighting baddies through Virtual Reality and her nemesis/stalker was Anthony as 'Oliver' who very much looks like Ripper and behaves even more badly. Only thing worth watching in that show imho...
