SIGH. Another "you'd like them really if only..." with a side order of condescending "well, it's because you are incompetent and irrational and beneath me"

NO. VIDEO GAMES DO NOT INTEREST ME. Period. Got it?

Please, use more capslock next time. How else will I know how important you are if you don't rant and rave about it like a lunatic.

OP asked a question. They gave two options. They either hate videogames because they're bad at them, or they are bad at videogames because they hate them. I gave my answer.
You can't realistically hate all videogames because there are too many to consider. If you play solitaire on your phone, that counts as playing a videogame. Making an all encompassing statement that you hate an entire brand of media just doesn't make sense.
It has nothing to do with skill, it only has to do with preference. It'd be like watching one bad episode of a sitcom and swearing off television forever. Not everything is going to be to your tastes, but chances are something will eventually.

Because it makes zero sense. You have written off an entire GENRE OF ENTERTAINMENT.

Do you feel the same about movies? Books? What about people who write off your favorite medium of entertainment?

They are entirely free to do that. It makes perfect sense if someone doesn't like something, no-one is saying they are objectively bad or worthless. What is senseless is the constant "you have to like at least one, because Reasons".
