I always hesitate when recommending media to people because I wonder if I have terrible taste. I'm even afraid to choose media for myself without reading reviews, which is completely ridiculous but it's true.

I can definitely say it sucks when you rec something you absolutely adore, only to have the other party react by bashing the thing and/or calling it stupid. It's like, gee, awesome, I like things that are stupid. Thanks a lot.

Definitely makes you think twice about reccing anything else.

at this point i've accepted that my taste is questionable about 70% of the time, but i also could not give a fuck about it anymore. i might not rec everything i'm into but i don't feel ashamed of liking it either. embrace your taste op! if it makes you happy that's all that matters.
