Eh. As long as it's entertaining, I enjoy lurking. I'm not one of those users who stomps their feet because the mods won't let OPs get interrogated by all the wanna-be internet detectives, LOL. If someone says something that seems like bullshit, I downvote and move on.

It's a support sub. Or it's supposed to be. And it's not about interrogation, it's that we can't call bullshit because, "Uh, OP, you realize that isn't how the court system works, it's not actually that fast" or "okay, this should be all over the news but isn't, so this is bullshit." Or saying, "You know, you don't come across too well here yourself." Gotta coddle the OP nowadays. (There was one who was posting about how she wanted to use her kid's coming out to rub it in the face of her MIL. As a gay person, this fucking appalled me. But can't say that, it might hurt OP's delicate fee-fees.)

I initially went there for support dealing with an abusive woman in my life (grandfather's girlfriend) but got drowned out by karma farmers when I wanted just a little commiseration and to feel like I'd actually been heard. So uh, if you want entertainment and fiction, AO3 exists for you.
