D: *hugs* I grew up in a conservative area, and a lot of people there would try to pull the "I don't hate gay people, I just don't think they should get married" argument, as though it's a respectable position. It makes me so angry. You're not making a decision on an abstract concept, you're making a decision that directly affects my future, and you think that's okay. >:(

We'll keep fighting, though. It'll happen, and sooner rather than later. *more hugs*

Seriously, me too. People with that opinion, I just get so pissed and tell them, "You not only hate gays, you want them to be second-class citizens. Please do not speak to me anymore."

I hate that people view it as some lofty moral battle as opposed to something that affects REAL PEOPLE, some of whom they ACTUALLY KNOW. Argh!
