Actually, no one has ANY idea what Chrona's actual gender is. Boy, girl, no one knows. Except maybe Medusa. And that's still a maybe, since I figure it would be IC for her to just never bother with looking at Chrona unless Chrona could be of some use to her in some way.

Poor, poor Chrona.

Oh, thanks I didn't know that (I'm only following the french sub, and they assume her as a girl in the translation). Also, I'm sorry but I don't remember why there is a ambiguity about her gender ? Where does it come from ?

His/Her appearance is androgynous, and in the Japanese they don't use gendered pronouns to refer to him/her(Or so I hear. Don't speak the language myself). People even wonder in canon which one it is.
