I guess what needs to be fixed, then, is that those supporting gay relationships in fandom and deny them IRL shouldn't be only slammed against, they should instead also be taught they ARE confusing homosexuality with fantasies, and really need to talk to someone like a counselor seeing people who are different sexually like distant playthings. I'm not saying it's right, I guess I'm trying to see how someone COULD be that way.

I don't really understand how someone really could be this way myself, so getting an answer from the Anon was my way of trying to educate myself on the matter. In my reply to you, I may have been overly harsh, but I would just like to say that, if you had said all that to begin with, I wouldn't have mistaken you for someone with a bigoted view. Apologies.

It was only through talking to you I was able to finally put my confusion into words, into something that made actual sense, so I'm grateful you were able to help me through that. I don't think you were harsh at all, I thought it was necessary to get me thinking about where the hell the initial thought in my brain was going, and I thank you for that.
