50. WTF? South Park =/= a show for paedophiles to fantasize about 9-year-olds falling in love and having sex with them. I don't really care how much of a 'deeper meaning' KnJ has, if the majority of the viewers watches it to get off to drawings of 9-year-olds, it kinda fails in delivering this meaning.

1. There is no sex in Kodomo no Jikan that isn't between consenting adults.

2. The teacher, Aoki, actually reprimands the girl, Rin, for her sexual advances. Rin's advance sexual behavior isn't treated as okay either but rather a problem.

3. I don't care it's for humor, South Park does sexualize the character when they see fit (see the episode when Kenny has a constant fantasy about boobs and the words he mummbles in the OP are quite sexual in nature, the whole episode with Ike and the teacher, and pretty much "that's pretty gay" moments with Cartman, with him acting like a Vietnamese hooker.

I don't see how humor makes it better or whatever... and that Kodomo no Jikan also uses the fanservice for humor as well.

Uhm, yeah, it's nice how you didn't respond to the point I was making at all. Detached from the content of both shows, it's the motivation of the viewers that's important. And I happen to think for the majority of KnJ viewers it's the sexualised children and not comedy as in South Park.

There's a lot of shit parents would see other than what it's intended. Hell, some thought Harry Potter was promoting witchcraft to kids. Even South Park got shit for "teaching boys to be vulgar".

And please, I doubt Kodomo no Jikan would get any shit, besides there's Negima, who is just shameless with fanservice, who has a few loli and shota characters who aren't exempt from fanserivce, as one of the best selling manga in the US today and guess what? It didn't get shit from it.

So the point of the series is how terrible it is to sexualize children, while at the same time sexualizing children. But it's okay, because it's "funny" (somehow) and it's acknowledged that some of the characters are psychologically unstable, which is apparently supposed to be a surprise to the reader.

How is this on par with a vaguely blob-like Cartman walking around SP in a mini skit and tube top during ONE episode? Do you honestly think even the most desperate pedophile would get all hot 'n' bothered over that?

Considering the amount of shotacon porn South Park has? Yeah. But it doesn't excuse that it sexual content among eight year old boys and that's only one incident of many.

But that's the fandom, not the ACTUAL show. If the only Jikan fanservice was produced in fanworks, there would be absolutely no debate.

I'm seriously giving myself a headache from debating about this. That's sad.
