Oh I quite doubt anyone will quit based on a fandom secret rant and I will go on to spend the rest of November and part of December encouraging my friends list (whom I <3 bunches) in their NaNo stories.

That's precisely why secret bitchy rant is secret.

I wish NaNo made them happier.

Ah, okay. My bad then, I took it as something more aggressively than intended. xD

Yeah, I can see your point. I do my fair share of moping on nano itself, but at the end of the day I just shrug and go 'oh well, my own fault'. My flist is not really that emo about nano though, so I haven't really seen the self-blaming posts pop up.

I think the point of nano is just that after it's all over, you feel happy, but while you're writing it's just such an enormous feet away from that happy page.

Er, sorry for getting all defensive though. xD

Oh no worries - did the secret in a heat of the moment type thing so bitchy secret came out with an extra helping of bitch. I'd probably end up tossing it a few choice words too if I wasn't the one who wrote it.
