I really want to do Goretober next month but:

1) Goretober is for drawing, typically, and I can only write
2) I'd be writing for a fandom where the characters physically cannot experience most gore
3) Next month is February

Start practicing now, and maybe you can have a whole comic to release in October!
Otherwise, just lie and say you had these work held over from the last Goretober?

1) What if it's "for drawing"? if you want to write, write!
2) Try anyway, see how it works out.
3) There are still 29 days of it and you can use up March 1st and 2nd anyway for the last two days. Or you can wait until March if it's important to you to have exactly 31 days in one month.
