Frankly there relationship is even more functional and equal in the books.

IA they're really sweet and while they do have their ups and downs they make sense. also i just really love naomi a lot so unless she was with an absolute asshole i'm going to root for whoever she wants to be with.

Agreed. It's always really nice when the obligatory het relationship is actually fully functional and full of chemistry. Holden easily could have been an insufferable character, too, but I enjoy him.

I ship Naomi/Drummer more because Drummer is objectively better, but I honestly wouldn't complain about Naomi/Holden. The writing's really good. Holden's mainly the least interesting character because he's constantly surrounded by far more interesting characters.

HA! Yes to both of these. I like Holden more now (and liked him more in the books; the actor didn't really do it for me), and like their relationship in the book *and* show a lot. It's equal, it's got two people doing their best to understand very different cultures and upbringings, it's sweet and supportive.

But Drummer/Naomi bring the hot, every time.

It is an excellent het romance and yes, one of the few that i actually enjoy. Good in the books, too.
