I still remember an old TV Guide I found when I was like seven. They made a list of 'the most annoying characters in TV history' or something. I didn't recognize a lot of the listed, but the writers made a huge point that 'of course, the number one spot goes to who else by Ross Gellar.'

This was most certainly (I think) published during the shows air... so, yeah. Ross has been the worst for a long time now...
