So stupid, isn't it?
Especially because any degree i would have would be like 30 years old. Wold it *really* be that much of an advantage?

If I was a hiring manager, I'd hire you- and other older people for their experience and wisdom, with or without degrees! But unfortunately...I don't have that job. :(
