I'm curious that nobody is getting more upset that they're continuing to switch the genders between the Doctor/Master, to keep them in a het sort of relationship. (of course excluding David Tennant's Master) They're obviously a big ship, so the fact they're keeping the flipped genders as a thing is sorta strange to me...

It's not crazy to think that they're treating the relationship differently when the Doctor and Master are different genders than they did when they were the same gender, even if the original Doctor and Master were always regarded as shippy by the fandom
