Re: Good videogames to practice Japanese?

Hope this doesn't sound weird, but maybe something aimed towards the younger crowd? One of my favourite Youtubers (Caddicarus) has done a few vids on games aimed at kids, and as a wannabe Japanese speaker myself, I found I can understand a lot of the dialogue as it's more simplified.

Maybe something like Animal Crossing? Fun to play anyway, and the dialogue is fairly simple! Let me know if you find anything good, I've been sort of gradually learning the language for years but Kanji still frightens me.
