Violets and roses are edible, but I just love them for their smell. Also some daffodils, like Chinese sacred lily, and other bulbs, like lily of the valley and Roman hyacinth, and actual lilies like the regal lily, none of which are edible.

Regal lilies are wonderful - so elegant, and a beautiful scent.
