Your timing (or, y'know, Technophile's timing in posting, possibly) is so very unfortunate. Because there are thousands of people making this exact same statement, in more flaily and less intelligent terms, and your secret is going to bear the brunt of it.

You clearly appreciate intellectually the whole concept of the cast changing on a regular basis, even though emotionally you find it impossible to cope. But you're going to be attacked from every side by all the people who are frustrated by the asshats who don't even understand the very concept. My sympathies. :(

This will be my *counts* seventh "new" Doctor, and I'm gonna miss 10 terribly. (Hell, I still miss 3 terribly, and Jon Pertwee's been dead for a dozen years!)

I still support them using Dark Magics to bring Pertwee back from the dead and make him the Doctor forever.

They can do the same with Katie Manning (except. you know. the 'bringing back from the dead' part)

I love Katy Manning :D She is SO an honourary Australian! (Apparently she lives about twenty minutes away from me! o.o One day I'm going to run in to her somewhere and my first thought is going to be, "I've seen you naked with a Dalek O.O")

Jo was the best Companion.

And Katy is awesome. I loved that her reaction to all the outrage over that photoshoot was basically "oh please I'm flat who cares"

Exactly! Why does no one ever mention that he looks more than enough like his dad to play the Third Doctor? He even has a very similar voice, fer chrissake.

Polls keep mentioning Sean Pertwee for Eleven, fans keep saying it's a pity the first three Doctors being dead rule out a multi-Doctor story, and nobody flippin' mentions that Jon Pertwee has a lookalike actor son who'd be a perfect replacement.

And, oh crap, why can't I remember the name of that youngish actress who'd make a terrific Jo recast?

Probably not who you're thinking of, but I always thought that girl that played Sandy from As Time Goes By would make a good Jo recast.

But I still support them just brining back Katy.
