Thank goodness, a WaT secret to save the day! I ship Danny/Martin like it's nobody's business, but haven't crossed to RPS. Don't think I ever will, solely because I don't think Eric would approve, religion and family. Not that there's anything wrong with it, I've certainly ventured into RPS a billion times over, but just not with him. Doesn't stop me from slashing Eric's characters in everything like *whoa*.

Edit: Wow, I think that sounded overly high and mighty. =) I just don't know what it is about Eric that prevents me from writing or reading RPS with him, but it certainly never stopped me with other ships.

That's part of the reason why it's a secret (other reason is the fandom's complete disapproval of E/E RPS). :) I love and adore Eric Close and his acting abilities. And I don't doubt that he'd hate the idea of RPS about him, but I guess it's just not enough to stop me. I think it's because I've seen way too many interviews of the two of them together (or talking about each other). They've got as much chemistry off screen as they do on – possibly more because their relationship isn't scripted like Danny and Martin's is. Also, they tend to gush about each other when asked about one another, and it's really cute.

I didn't know there was a general disapproval for Eric/Enrique. Honestly, I always felt it was *easy* to not read RPS because I never came across any of it (or much WaT RPS in general, for that matter). I'm sure it would be wicked hard for me to resist if it was prevalent. But, that chemistry off screen definitely makes for some great Danny/Martin (and it doesn't hurt that Enrique, at least, has seemed pretty slash friendly and open to him and Martin in interviews). They're just too awesome to watch week to week, and all their little quirks that have stayed the same from season one, and I truly believe that reflects more on Eric and Enrique than the show's writers.

I'll stop now, I'm gushing. Anyway, meeting (sort of) another fan is always nice!
