It's kind of annoying how fast the doctors are passing. Who is going to run out of body reincarnation things [that term I cannot for the LIFE of me remember] soon. They really need to get someone who will stick with it for more than five minutes. --Judo

Eh, but. It's a story; they can hand-wave the Doctor another set of regenerations somehow. Could even be really neat how he gets them.

I mean, it's far less of a cop-out than it might seem when you hear that the Master apparently did that a long time ago. Or that 13 regenerations might have been some rule imposed by the Time Lords, who are all dead anyway... Or that when they were around, no Time Lord was ever REALLY dead because they were saved in, "the Matrix" (which sounds like some sort of databank for the minds of the dead), and could be pulled out again if need be.

So yeah. Doctor Who's had available back-up ideas stewing about in the 'verse for a while now. If the show lasts that long, someone will surely use them.
