Haha, my mind kind of drifts in that direction from time to time (I'm a huge tomboy, so it doesn't really surprise me), but I associate very closely to being female. I'm happy with it.

However, I stil find it hard to fight down the urge to just jump a guy and want to dominate him in various ways. I like seeing guys lose control and be taken advantage of, in fandom and even in real life. I can't imagine how many times I've looked at a guy I really liked and wondered if he'd let me dominate the relationship, if just a little. Because I am very much not submissive. I kind of beat around the bush and act kind of that way, but honestly I'm not.

This really is a large part of my fascination and love of slash/yaoi. ;;

Although judging by this comment, I kinda doubt fandom's responsibility. It's not like you'd be likely to follow a fictional dynamic you weren't already drawn to, right?

I'm not going to say that you shouldn't feel like you should have been born male. If that's how you feel, that's how you feel.

BUT.

Feeling like a dom really, really shouldn't be a reason for feeling like that. Women can be doms just as well as men, and there's nothing unfeminine about it. What's more, I think there are a lot more men out there who like to be dominated to SOME degree or another than you're giving credit. You just have to find the guy who's into it, the same way a male (straight) dom would have to find a woman who was into it.

Without arguing with the person above me (dude, femdoms are awesome), if you mean that last part really, really seriously, Wikipedia has some info (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transman/) to use as a jumping-off point.

Of course, you may not have been that serious. In which case, feel free to ignore.

(I just can never let probably-throwaway comments like that go, because I remember what it was like to be young...er and not fully aware that I'm an FtM. So if there's a chance that someone else is in that scary place, I want to throw that out there.)
