How's your Saturday?

How is everyone's Saturday going?

I've got a migraine, so I'm in bed with an ice pack, ear plugs, no lights, and a pile of blankets. Plans have gone away and I've just been reading internet things (Listverse and notalwaysright mostly).

I had a rush of energy in the morning, and picked up and cleaned, and now it's evaporated and I'm pottering around lazily / anxiously

I have days like that too. It is nice to get things done, but the lazy is fun too. Hope your anxiety goes away and you can enjoy the rest of your Saturday.

I went to the office to get some work done, but they'd either cut the power because of the work on the new alarm system, or some fuse was blown for the third time this week. End result was that the electricity was out on the entire floor, and I'd wasted a a fifty minute round trip for nothing.

I shall now put on a face mask and watch Babylon Berlin while it dries.

Started with gym at 9 am (!) then spent a whole day watching Star Trek movies with my Star Trek virgin friend. We watched The Motion Picture and The Voyage Home and she liked both!

Now I'm drunk. :-)

Would not have picked The Motion Picture for a newbie to start with, but glad she liked it! The Voyage Home has always been my favorite. Sometimes my brother and I just start randomly quoting it to each other: "They like you very much, but they are not the hell your whales."

Pretty good! I went to see Birds of Prey and have sushi with a couple of friends, made plans with them for a cook out tomorrow;
made a stop at the secondhand bookshop on my way back where I found several Pratchett books so I picked up a few Discworld books to complete my collection and my brother's, plus The Long Earth for my sister-in-law.

Found the cutest paw-coaster tutorial on youtube, I might try and make a few for my not-sister-in-law as part of her birthday gift.

went to see bird's of prey, it was fun! i'm glad the dc movies seem to have found their own feet in the superhero genre and i hope they keep this up.

Feel better! When I have a migraine I also try to avoid perfume and toothpaste- ANY scents, really. Forget about scented oils. I won't even try sniffing menthol or lavender when people recommend it.

No great. I had to go out for dinner with my family earlier and I'm in a major depressive phase right now and it was so hard not to break down while out. I'm feeling pretty terrible right now and will try to get some sleep soon.

Finishing up Chocolate Box treats.

Watched the first ep of the Netflix Ragnarok. Haven't decided if I'm going to continue watching.

Ragnarok is on my list of things to try. Mmmm, chocolate. Can't have chocolate right now because it and migraines don't mix. Hope you enjoyed yours and that the rest of your weekend goes well.

I quite enjoyed the pilot of Incorporated. Also started watching Nurses, and I'm enjoying that. For some reason I really like medical shows.

Finally managed to watch Promare. There was a lot going on but I did enjoy it (really love the OST).
