Mimi/Izzy is cute, imo. I only have the vaguest memories of the original Digimon, and for whatever reason I thought they got along well.

Oh, it's not that they're not cute or that they hated each other, I just always thought they were more of a pair-the-spares kind of ship instead of an OTP interaction-wise? Not that one can't seriously ship them, just never occured to me that so many people would.

I looked it up and I guess he just has a crush on her in Tri. For some reason I thought he did in Adventure, but I might have been misremembering the time when they found each other after being separated in the desert.

There was an early episode where they got separated from everyone else together and trapped in a maze or something, and their personalities clashed a lot when they tried to get out, in a very classic "think with your head" vs. "think with your heart" scenario. I don't ship it, but from that episode alone I can see why it's popular.
