132 Isn't Castiel technically sexless except for the male human body? It's sort of how I always pictured the supernatural presences. Technically... aren't Ruby and Castiel both sexless, since the bodies aren't theirs and they only went by preference/circumstance? That said, I think Castiel would be hated by those loud brats if "he" were in a female body because OMG THAT SKANK IS SPENDING TOO MUCH TIME WITH MY DEAN.

IDK really, but we were watching that interview a few days ago and I kid you not Bradley and Colin were SO FUCKING ADORABLE and Bradley was weirdly...like... almost on top of him. And they wouldn't shut up and I cracked: I -do- want it now. I'm sure the fandom will explode for it soon enough, but to my knowledge only one has been written so far, and apparently it wasn't all that great or something.

I agree about the angels being sexless. Definitely the angels, for sure. I assumed the demons were too, but back in S1, Yellow Eyes mentions Meg being his daughter and the other demon Sam and Dean killed being his son. That kinda confused me. And then they brought up the whole "I used to be human" thing with Ruby. So I guess technically the demons have genders? I dunno. Why do I think about these things?!

I remember that, but I still think it's a coin toss that the body they inhabit actually reflect their sex. Meg being YE's daughter always made me go '...waaa?' because... IDK, unless their whole family went crazy together a la Anminityville or something I took it as 'my daughter in EBILLL AHAHAHHAA.'

And really, it just made me go even FARTHER and wondered if it's possible for demons to have sex in their supernatural forms, procreate (lol, like two chemical gases meeting together O GOD HERE I GO AGAIN), or whatever. I mean, if they were conceived, that opens another door: demons can love? Not that sex = love, but if YE's is so protective and enraged about biological or nonbiological connections that's a bond, so... love, right? And it's not all the evil side of love because he mourned their death and sought vengeance, so that means some part of them is still tied to the Supernatural's version of God and

MY HEAD HURTS. But from THERE I wonder if after they degraded from humans they lose a definite sexuality, and after becoming a 'demon' from there sex has no meaning but when they possess someone or if they remember what sex they were when they were human.

I agree about the angels being sexless too, mostly because I take my angel "canon" from Dogma.... :S

I over think things too. At least Supernatural isn't as bad as CLAMP's Wish, where they stated that the angels and demons were genderless, but all angels would be referred to as "she" and the demons "he". But then they called one guy "the Son Of Satan", and he was having it off with an angel but also a demon... And then it got more confusing...
... Ok that was REALLY dorky...

In short: I think the angels are sexless/genderless, since (until they tell us otherwise) I'm assuming that angels start out life as angels. I'm undecided on the demons - I sort of "like" to think of them as genderless - but since we know the used to be human and they refer to demons as he and she explicitly, like when Sam got posessed by Meg... Or whatever demon that possessed Meg... But Dean does say that Sam had a girl all up inside him ;) (quote unquote..?) But are ALL demons former humans? Maybe once you become a demon, you become a sexless/genderless force of evil? (Way to overthink Supernatural, self.)
Long answer for a relatively short point!

I like to think of the demons in that way as well. It's probably a slow progression into genderless evil.

And I'm not familiar with CLAMP, but damn. That sounds confusing.
