AYRT - Yeah, this is pretty fair, IMO. To me, the actual RPF itself is what I'm usually fine with, because it's easy to make it clear that it's fiction and only post it to places that are fic places, and where the actors are unlikely to see it unless they actively go looking.

But everything that often goes with RPF does sometimes feel pretty squicky and inappropriate, I do agree there. Tin Hatting, and bringing your RPF agenda to the attention of the actors/musicians themselves in any way, are definitely things I find rude and inappropriate.
