For myself, I am sick! I have a cold, and also I am on my period, so it's just all gross fluids all the time.
On the up side, I have a pile of handkerchiefs in a slide-out storage thing under my bed, and I discovered at about 2:30 this morning that I can reach those handkerchiefs without getting out of bed! Hurruh!

The hanky storage thing is one of those little victories that make things a bit more bearable, so yay for that!

Just work. And then a run to the next town over with the Monstrous Bebe to take her new kitty (the adopted V-day week) to the vet there. Her eye seems to be a bit inflamed, and nobody around here had an appointment until next week.

Monstrous and her BF are very nervous kitty parents, heh.

Nothing. Cancelled all my scheduled things for this week. I'm really sick. Mostly just laying in bed. Sleeping when I can, which isn't much since I'm coughing so much. reading websites and watching some stuff on my computer. Taking all the cold meds.

This n that. Worked, made constructive social plans for the near future, talked about the new Matrix movie with my coworkers (it's filming right outside our office! Admittedly not when I'm actually there but still). Usual stuff.

Anticipating winter weather. My expectations for snow are low; I'm just happy for the low temperatures and am hoping ice will not be a big presence. Oh, and that all the neighbors follow the damn instructions to let their faucets drip. Especially anybody above or to the side of me.

Work. Was going to go to the gym, but forgot my gym bag at work (couldn't leave it in the car because the water bottle would have frozen and I would gave had to change into cold clothes!) Instead I came home, started a load of laundry and listened yo a YouTube video while I emptied and reloaded the dishwasher and did the hand-wash dishes. Now i am going to make myself some pasta for a late-ish dinner and go to bed early.

Watching Legion. and the new episode of Brooklyn 99. Going to watch Sanremo later, final day (five) part one! Still a little weirded out with what happened yesterday, but the competition's still great and I'm looking forward to see who wins!

Brought to you by Bugo e Morgan from Sanremo, where Bugo walked off stage right at the beginning of the performance. They got disqualified and I was so mad because I thought he just left since they were solidly in last place... turns out Morgan changed the words of the song calling Bugo ungrateful and rude and basically blamed him for being in last place and so Bugo walked off because what the fuck else is he supposed to do?

American Horror story when it is good. Black Mirror. Channel Zero. Does Poirot count? Wiki lists it as an example. Are You Afraid of the Dark. Night Gallery.

Twilight Zone (original and all the other versions too, except the most recent which admittedly I only saw a couple episodes of, but didn't love). Outer LImits (both the original and the more recent version). Masters of Horror (should have been more than 2 seasons, IMHO).

The Haunting Hour is great. I actually own the dvds of this one.

With my reading schedule, I have problems doing long-form fiction these days. So I end up doing a lot of "year's best" science fiction anthologies. Some of them are even free.
