Have you read it yet, or are you going off what you heard? Because imo "she's so beautiful men constantly try to rape her" is a gross oversimplification.

Then I recommend you give it a try and judge for yourself. If you don't like it, fine, but don't give up because of a bad faith description. If it helps, my comment above ("vague minor spoilers") contains nothing that doesn't become clear in the first chapter and I tried to give a better sense of what the book is about.
