Nobody said that. OP clearly said "lots of" - so if there's the occasional error, it's not a big deal, but if it's obvious thevaithor didn't even do a basic spell check themselves first: that's annoying.

Did anyone claim spellchecks did that? Spoilers: nope, nobody said that.

The issue isn't catching every typo ever, it's that running a spellcheck is the bare minimum you can do to proofread your own work. Dyslexics can do this, too.
