^ This is how it's done. Weird that at least one person acts like this is just an impossible, unreasonable thing for authors to do.

Right?? Beta readers and editors are a valuable human resource that's COMPLETELY SEPARATE from basic error checks that you should be doing yourself. I'd HOPE most people aren't just throwing their rough first drafts at their poor beta readers, good lord.
