DA I was yawning within half an hour of the first ep and gave up when it got to Blackbeard. Somehow I osmosed that it wasn't my kind of show.

I would have given up if "Blackbeard" had actually been Blackbeard. As it was, I appreciated the joke and was already curious about what Silver would do with his stolen goods, so I stuck around and was further pleasantly surprised.
