150. I'm personally offended by this. Have you ever heard of social anxiety or all of those other disabilities? And you know what? I probably wouldn’t approach you even if I didn’t have debilitating shyness. You know why? Because I would be afraid I would become just like you; an elitist hypocrite with an inflated ego. I’d rather be the shy kid in the corner than be so terrible to other people.

Me too, hell I even have social anxiety, and I know what its like to be the 'awkward geeky lonely kid'. So when someone like that comes up to me and asks about fandoms I do my best to make them feel welcomed.. because it must have taken a lot of courage to approach a total stranger like that. And when the shy kid opens up- a lot of them have a ton of personality.. ya know?
off topic: I was known for bitching the hell out of upper classmen who picked on the geeky freshmen in highschool.. but that's another story.

Speaking as someone who has run anime clubs before, I will tell you this - I super prefer the quiet ones. The loud ones who yammer about every aspect of every episode we're watching are the ones I want to kill.
