I have three sisters. The eldest is just a mess that I don't think I can help. The second eldest that I go visit on weekends (and take trips with) has her shit together. The youngest has like...25% of her shit together. She lives paycheck to paycheck. She actually lives in our garage apartment with her two kids. She just has to pay her own utility bills for that.

She just...doesn't seem to have the motivation to better herself. Found out this morning she had defaulted on her student loans and her federal tax return was taken. I spent four hours this morning calming her down and helping her figure out what she needs to do now. My stomach is hurting so much from the stress. But well, I would feel worse if I didn't help her and my extension my niece/nephew.

Ah, that makes sense. You sound dx like a good sister. Good luck, but remember to take care of yourself at the same time.
