Is that really an unusual technique to fight invisible people? I feel like it is almost a trope (flour is common to use as well).

I think given that we already have technology that repels liquids, and that this is a really obvious flaw, this was too easy. I haven't seen the whole thing yet, maybe they do address this. Idk.

Even stuff that repels liquids leaves a bit of stain. Or, would be too slow to get off him. And again, flour exists. Or just dirt.

it's a trope but it's also just common sense, if there is an invisible thing around you, you're gonna find a way to make it visible.
