(spoiler for 'the good place') (warnings for mentions suicidal idelation)


I hated how it ended, that a two second decision that the people in the Good Place could decide to kill themselves once they got bored, and that it was some acceptable answer.
Especially since the whole show was based around split second decision like that not working out, or being contested in some way.

It makes no sense, and if they wanted some heartbreaking finale where everyone is miserable than it should have been some sort of reincarnation type of deal. Restarting from a new slate as new person (possibly with the inclinations that made them a good person) who get's the memories of their past lives back when/if they get back to the Good Place.

Either way, the idea that true peace and happiness can only be found in absolute death is stupid and totally the wrong message to send.
