I don't have a problem with secrets about the fandom (notice I didn't say anything about 136), I'm just getting tired of the "I hate Twilight!" secrets because I think the haters don't realise that all their bitching makes them sound just as bad as the fans, if not worse. If you hate something, then you should just leave it be.

But there lies the problem. Twilight fans expect EVERYONE to love the book! They go nuts if you insult it in anyway, shape, or form.

Yeah, I know. But just because they think this, it doesn't mean that people should just stop posting Twilight secrets. Granted, I personally think Twilight is a published Mary-Sue fanfiction by a delusional fangirl, but I still think everyone has the right to express their opinions.

Too bad the haters aren't making themselves look any better. I never read the books except this one page excerpt that made me cry on the inside because of the over flowery prose, which is a number one indicator to stay away, but the sheer amount of energy of people over hatred of a book is outstanding.

Frankly, I'm tired of the same "I HAET Twilight" secret everyday or every other day. We get it, you hate it. It doesn't make you look good when you say you'll lose respect over someone over a fucking shitty book. It only makes the person looks immature.

Trust me, I know Twilight fans are bad. I used to be involved in the Twilight fandom, and they can't even be nice to each other, so it doesn't surprise me that they go crazy when someone doesn't like the books

Yeah, but then the people who aren't fans responding back with "NO ONE should like this book and you suck if you do!" is just as bad, isn't it? Both sides really need to calm down. It looks like it's a subpar book that suddenly exploded into popularity, but people have been liking really, really bad books since the first bad book was published. The world moves on, it's never been a HUEG LIEK XBOX big deal before.

... all the hate is really making me want to try reading the first book, just to see if it's really, like, the SATAN INCARNATE all the epically loud haters are making it out to be.

This, so much. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Twilight is not the first shitty book that some (if not many) people will LOEV, and it will hardly be the last. In the end, it is not a big deal. At all. Deep cleansing breaths, people. :/
