107) Growing up isn't about getting rid of your whimsical fantasies. It's about being able to survive the world on your own. So long as you are able to hold down a job, clean your house, maintain interpersonal relationships, manage a budget, and eat sensibly without someone nagging you, you've succeeded at the "grown up" thing. Go and enjoy your fantasies. As a grown up, you need them.

112) The only reason why McShep bothers you is because you've chosen to dwell on it. Just scroll scroll scroll and you never need to deal with it. Go find yourself some Shep/Teyla fanciers to squee with -- just like everyone else does. As for Shepard/Teyla -- it's not going to happen in canon. Teyla already is involved. But even if it were to, it wouldn't make McShep any less popular. As a rareshipper, my advice is to let the whole thing go. It's not worth getting angry over. Just be happy with whatever you have.
