Oh jeeze, I was playing this back.. Well, pretty much when it came out! It was my first RPG, and probably the first game I'd played with much of a story at all... I don't think I finished it back then, but last year I loaded it up and did a full run through, and had a lot of fun.
I really hope the Skywind project actually gets finished...

(lazy secret OP)

I'm pretty optimistic about Skywind! I've been keeping a casual eye on them for a while, and from what I can tell they've come a long enough way that I'd be very much surprised if it fell through now. I was actually hoping Skywind would be the solution to the trouble I was having getting past Morrowind's older graphics and gameplay the first couple times I tried to play it. As it turns out, that wasn't necessary. Still looking forward to it, though! Graphics aside, Morrowind jumped up to my favorite Elder Scrolls game VERY fast.

Skywind looks almost too good to be true. I'm really excited for it, but I have to admit that the stylistic original aesthetic of Morrowind is a large part of my nostalgic enjoyment of the game.
