Oh I feel this one.
In my situation its annoying because I had only mentioned that I was getting into watching the Star Trek spin offs (like tng, ds9 and voy) and she gave me such a verbal stink-eye about hating star trek and I had laughed it off while moving onto something else with no intention of bringing it up again. Yet, in more recent years, whenever she's gets into a new series that's something I'm not into - she keeps telling me how I absolutely should watch it anyways.

I have never been so grateful about Game of Thrones having a shit ending because now she has finally shut up about that. Unfortunately she keeps trying to get me into a couple of horror series that's just not going to happen (I can't do gore, unless its obviously fake special effects I just can't stomach it).
