Not autocorrect just hubris!!! (autocorrect did get me when I was trying to spell Raccoona Sheldon but I don't think I can really complain about that one as much)

But yes, Dark Is Rising is great and I still long for a really good adaptation that gets at the core of the series. Ideally a TV series made and set in Britain with British actors. I shouldn't even have to say that last part and yet apparently I do.

I still believe that a series of animated movies done by the studio that did Song of the Sea and The Secret of Kells would be perfect. The style of that studio would be perfect for the subject matter and they'd avoid having to find the perfect child actors (who in case of Bran would look natural as an albino AND be able to speak/pronounce Welsh).
