Damn, OP.

Isn't there a way to show that you've been working on it for a while, or put in a disclaimer, like "I know this sounds like X, but it's something I've been writing for a while" and hope enough people don't care, believe you, or that you execute the idea better than X and both plots diverge? Or post everything you have written before they continue? i.e. you have 7 chapters written, they only have 3 posted, you post 1 chp a day?

What's the general plot if the AU, if you don't mind?

I completely completely agree. Some writers I just know I don't like and there is no circumstance where I wanna see their work.
